We’re super-excited to announce our return to the Holiday Inn Austin Midtown, and we’ve got a lot of improvements over last year – better control over adult content in the dealer’s den, more panel space, bigger artist’s alley, specified party floors, and lots more!

That said, those of you who joined us for our inaugural year may remember that space was a little on the tight side. To make sure that we can accommodate all of our attendees, we’re making two big changes for Lone Star Fur Con 2026:

1) Lone Star Fur Con 2026 will have a cap of 1,000 attendees.

2) Lone Star Fur Con 2026 will not have on-site registration – preregistration will be the only way to attend.

We know that this is different from the usual, but these are necessary steps to make sure that everyone is able to comfortable and safe. We want to reinforce the fact that these measures are in place only for a single year, and plans are in place to move to a much larger venue for Lone Star Fur Con 2027.
