Lone Star Fur Con is proudly brought to you by Anthro Outreach LLC—a small, passionate Texas-based team with a huge love for the fandom. We launched Anthro Outreach in early 2024 to handle all the planning and logistics required to make LSFC a reality.
Our Mission
Our mission is to craft unforgettable experiences celebrating both the individual and the community of the furry fandom. We strive to creating inclusive, welcoming events where everyone is seen, supported, and empowered to be their authentic self.
Community & Charity
We proudly support a diverse range of nonprofit organizations, from LGBTQ advocacy groups to animal welfare and community-focused initiatives. Each year, we partner with a charity to integrate meaningful giving into the heart of our events, ensuring your very presence at LSFC brings about lasting change in our communities.
History
Anthro Outreach LLC began as a small group looking to spin up a convention right here in Austin, Texas. We originally began gathering in 2022, but it wasn’t until 2023 that things really took off. With a small team behind us, Anthro Outreach LLC was founded in February 2024 as we began planning for year 1.
On February 27th, 2025 we launched the first iteration of Lone Star Fur Con. With an attendance of 880 and over $3300 raised for Queertopia in its first year, Anthro Outreach LLC is happy to continue pursuing conventions for many years to come.
